Our purpose is to identify facts and locate important information in Nonfiction.

Monday 11/9  Reader's Ws.  Student will read NF  SST for information

Tuesday 11/10  Science book Scavenger Hunt.  Student will complete scavenger hunt in science textbook.  Student will locate NF text features. 

Wednesday 11/11  Students will identify political issues, social issues, and personal issues in Newspaper articles. 

Thursday 11/12  Students will use Buckle Down article to identify author's purpose, tone,mood and issue. 

Friday 11/13  Students will complete BMP  (Benchmark Practice) on NF  article.

Our purpose is to locate and gather information in NF in order to respond to what we read.

Monday 11/16  Reader's WS. Students will read NF for information. 

Tuesday 11/17  Students will complete BMP  "Buggy Medicine".  Students will read and respond to NF  article. 

Wednesday 11/18  We will review "Buggy Medicine". 

Thursday 11/19  Students will read short stories and differentiate between fact and opinion. 

Friday  11/20  Students will visit school library for NF lesson
