Dec. 7 - 11

Monday:  Students will take the Geography Bee.

Tuesday:  Students will review for an assessment over Chap. 6.  Test on Thurs. Workbook 51-57 to review and make a chart on Who, What, When, Where, Why.

Wednesday:  Check Workbook 51-57 and review for the assessment on Chap. 6.  Study for the test.

Thursday:  Students will take the Chap. 6 assessment. 

Friday:  Students will read about U.S entering WWI and complete a puzzle about WWI. 

Dec. 14 - 18

Monday:  Students will read Chap. 15, lesson 3 pgs. 528 - 533. and lesson 4 pgs. 536 - 539.  Then they will learn the new vocabulary words for economics unit.

Tuesday:  Students will read the newspaper "Spending Resources Wisely" and make 3 column notes with a partner.

Wednesday:  Students will read the newspaper "A Question of Money"  and make product market items and posters. 

Thursday:  Product Market in the A.M. and Reward Day in the P.M.

Friday:  Variety Show in the A.M. and 6th grade party from 1:40 - 3:00 in the cafeteria.

Nov. 30 - Dec. 4

Monday:  The students will take an assessment Part 2 over Chapter 5.  They will answer 3 open-response questions.

Tuesday:  The teacher will read "A Long Way to Go."  This will lead students into reading Newpaper 14 about Women's Rights.  Then they will make a poster that might have been carried in a parade for women's rights.

Wednesday:  TSW read Sections 1-2 pgs. 198-213, take notes, and start on vocabulary.

Thursday:  TSW will go to "A Christmas Carol" for a field trip.

Friday:  TWW read Section 3 pgs. 214-220, take notes. and finish vocabulary.
