Monday: Discuss how the American Economy has changed.

Tuesday: Explain resources and give several examples of a resource. 

Wednesday: Sudent will learn the concept of earning and spending money wisely.

Nov. 30-Dec. 4 

Monday: Answer three open response questions about the Industrial Revolution

Tuesday: Read two passages about women's rights of the early 1900's and make a parade poster that explains why people should support women's right to vote.

Wednesday: Read Chapter 6 lessons 1 and 2.  Complete vocabulary and take notes about "Changing America in the early 1900's."

Thursday: Students attend the movie "A Christmas Carol."

Friday: Read Chapter 6 lesson 3.  Complete vocabulary and take notes about the Progressives and Reforms of the early 1900's.

Nov. 16-20

Monday: Students will use a play to learn about the Transcontinental Railroad

Tuesday: Students will learn why and how cities grew during the late 1800's.

Wednesday: Review the posiitive and negative results of the growth of the cities.

Thursday: Read "Industrial Revolution Brings the World to America."

Friday: Review all topics in Chapter 5 for assessment on Monday.
