6th Grade ART - Weekly Assignments

Monday: Oct. 12, 2009

Today students will do an unside down drawing in ebony pencil to test their drawing abilities.

Tuesday:  Oct. 13, 2009

Today students will practice 4 drawing techniques, hatching, cross-hatching, stippling, and shading to improve their drawing skill.  

Wednesday:  Oct. 14, 2009 

We are continuing our focus on drawing and participating in Gesture Round Robin drawing.  Gesture drawing captures motion or movement in a figure drawing.

Thursday: Oct. 15, 2009

 Today students will do a labored gesture drawing and add contour details in marker, continuing our focus on movement.

Friday: Oct. 16, 2009    

Last day of art class and 9 week wheel rotation.  Today is game day!!!!!  And, students hopefully will be able to take their ceramic pots home.
